Dr. med. Sabine Prillmann, born in 1964, completed her medical studies in Ulm and
Munich. After completing her studies, she began her professional career at Central Hospital
Augsburg in the Department of Radiotherapy, where she spent her AIP time as a ward physician on the private ward.
As part of this work, she gained her first experience in the
field of pain therapy, as well as the holistic approach and treatment of
patients. During this time, she wrote her doctoral thesis on “The
Thyroid carcinoma – Results of radiotherapeutic treatment of 128
patients from 1982 – 1993 at the Central Hospital Augsburg”.

After several years in the pharmaceutical industry in the field of clinical research,
she herself suffered a double herniated disc with a subsequent two-year period of suffering.
As a result, she became intensively involved with the conservative treatment options for
Back pain: from physiotherapy to TCM (acupuncture, shiatsu), Pilates and
Gyrotonic to medical strengthening therapy. From 2006 -2012 Dr. Prillmann was
in the practice of Dr. Marianowicz, Munich and in the clinic “Der Jägerwinkel”, where,
in addition to general orthopaedics, she learned the techniques of minimally invasive pain therapy.
From 2006 to 2008, she worked as a doctor for medical
Strengthening therapy at Kieser Training Haidhausen.

She therefore specializes in all minimally invasive treatment procedures for
spinal diseases: Image converter-controlled or CT-guided periradicular
therapy (PRT), the epidural catheter treatment according to Prof. Racz, the intervertebral disc micro-
laser therapy (PLDD) and thermal probe treatment of the facet joints.
In addition, there is the planning and supervision of rehabilitation measures and
physical-physiotherapeutic follow-up treatment.
